Each digital caliper goes through full calibration before being ready to sell, although a calibration certificate is not included in this model. However, users can purchase DCLA-1205C which has NIST certification.

It is worth noting that the RS232 data transfer port featured on this caliper requires users to connect it with the "VINCA DTCR-03" Cable (sold separately, not included) to perform data transfer to a PC. It must be emphasized that regular USB cables are not compatible. Moreover, this product is patented in the US and comes with an additional battery.

Important Tips: - The scale printed on the body/beam is for decoration purposes only and is not suitable for reading measuring results. The digital display should be used to obtain readings. - The ZERO line on the printed scale should not line up with the JAW line, and should instead line up/under the left side of the black plastic vernier cover. - When doing adjustments, push/press the wheel toward the beam and then move it back and forth to adjust. - If the display numbers are blinking/flashing, replace the battery with a new one. - If the display numbers are jumping crazily, it is likely due to a low battery. Replace the battery with a new one to resolve this issue.
